Free Social Media Monitoring Tools - Updated List

Hello,

Here is a new list of free social media tools for monitoring. This is the latest addition to the earlier list. Click Here to see it.

Icerocket: This one is for blogs especially. You can use it as a real time search engine for blogs. If your expectations are humble then you may like it.

TwentyFeet: You can sign up for a 30 day free trial. What I like is its larger scope. It aggregates the stats of your various social handles and helps you with a one stop shop to oversee your activities across the platforms. Nice Logo

Beevolve: A simple but clean UI. You can sign up for a 14 day trial. Seems a good option for Small businesses and start-ups as the the price plans are modest.

Twazzup: One of the best Twitter monitoring tools. Twazzup is a single window to check out latest tweets about the keyword you enter, live pics, news, and influencers. It also displays a list of related keywords and a simple mouse-over them is enough to check latest tweets on them.

Addict-o-matic: How the hell did I miss it in my first post? Search for any term and it helps you with list of best sites for latest news, pics, etc. Best part- create a customized page for the keyword of your choice and get latest updates.

Have you tried any one of them. Do share your thoughts here.

Cheers

Yesterday's Social Networks - Pictorial

Imagine how things would have been had Facebook and Twitter been founded in 1950's and 1960's. Things would have been totally different then.

Even the ads would have had a vintage touch to it. To bring it alive an ad agency based in Brazil named Moma Propoganda came up with this series of advertisements. Do read the print on ads.

PIPL: Search PEOPLE online

You said "bye bye" to them years back,  and haven't heard of them since then. But now with the advent of social media you hope to find the back? Well, your search ends here. Let me itroduce you to PIPL-People Search.

PIPL is one of the most comprehensive search engines to search people. If you're thinking "How come PIPL find me what greatest search engine Google cannot? The answer is DEEP WEB. Acording to wikipedia deep web term refers to content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexed by standard search engines.

However, I feel if the profile you're looking for has an account on sites like Facebook and LinkedIn then PIPL may not be necessary as Facebook and LinkedIn profiles are indexed by search engines and you will find what you're looking for right there on the first page.

But PIPL can still come handy. Do let me know your experience with it.

FREE Facebook page browser

Facebook pages have come a long way and are just getting better day by day. You must have "liked" many.  Are you finding more to like more? Here is the LINK from Facebook itself.

A very comprehensive and categorically listed store of Facebook pages.

You can see entire list of Facebook pages and can also locate pages country wise and category wise.

This is a great tool I would say, especially because it comes straight from Facebook and you can like pages instantly without having to visit each page and click like. You also need not worry whether its official or not as only the official ones get mentioned in here.

On the right hand side you see a list of friends with whom you share "mutual likes". One of the ways to check compatibility ;)

A fast, easy and trusted sources to check out pages. I use it to find my fav brands so that I can participate in some contest and win free goodies. What are you going to use it for? Please share here.

Cheers!!!
