Free Social Media Monitoring Tools - Updated List

Hello,

Here is a new list of free social media tools for monitoring. This is the latest addition to the earlier list. Click Here to see it.

Icerocket: This one is for blogs especially. You can use it as a real time search engine for blogs. If your expectations are humble then you may like it.

TwentyFeet: You can sign up for a 30 day free trial. What I like is its larger scope. It aggregates the stats of your various social handles and helps you with a one stop shop to oversee your activities across the platforms. Nice Logo

Beevolve: A simple but clean UI. You can sign up for a 14 day trial. Seems a good option for Small businesses and start-ups as the the price plans are modest.

Twazzup: One of the best Twitter monitoring tools. Twazzup is a single window to check out latest tweets about the keyword you enter, live pics, news, and influencers. It also displays a list of related keywords and a simple mouse-over them is enough to check latest tweets on them.

Addict-o-matic: How the hell did I miss it in my first post? Search for any term and it helps you with list of best sites for latest news, pics, etc. Best part- create a customized page for the keyword of your choice and get latest updates.

Have you tried any one of them. Do share your thoughts here.

Cheers

  1. Great list. Really comprehensive. But must be quite bamboozling for those new to this field. The majority of these tools are great for tracking keywords forgetting a high-level view of the 'conversation', but I would contend that they still create even more data that needs a lot of manual intervention to understand where real business value is being derived.

  2. Live streaming is the latest fad on social media so make sure to get live with your audience from time to time.
Live streaming would give you a more intimate space with your viewers and encourage them to interact with you more often. It would allow more personal interaction with your audience in real time.
You can also share your live videos later, so that those who have missed out the live streaming can view them again. A tour of your business, a demonstration of your products or an interview with the creators are some of the possible content which can be created with a live video.
Make sure to make the most out of the apps which allows you to go live directly from the blog.
